From quirky musical numbers to a diverse and star-studded cast, Rogers & Hammerstein Cinderella is one of the most iconic remakes of classic fairy tales and, personally, one of my favorite movies from my childhood.
Earlier this year, stars Brandi and Paolo Montalban reunited on screen for the first time in over 25 years for a Disney production. Descendants: Rise of Red, For those of you who haven’t seen their interview yet, it might bring tears to your eyes.

So, to relive the “magic” of the 1997 classic, here are some of the best moments between Brandi and Paolo, aka Cinderella and Prince Christopher, who I still love.
1.
The movie begins with no idea that Cinderella and the Prince will run into each other on the street. When she sings “Sweet Sounds” about Cinderella finding her love, she finds herself singing with the Prince nearby. Same.
2.
And when we finally meet, we make eye contact for the first time. It’s love at first sight.
3.
And there are sweet moments where they bond through the fact that they’ve both lived sheltered lives.
Four.
There is a moment when the Prince and Cinderella finally find each other at the ball and make eye contact again (cries!).
Five.
And it gets better. . hand. upon. . jaw.

and looks. Girls, same!!!
7.
There’s a funny moment when they start dancing together, but they don’t remember each other very well at the market.

And of course, the moment he called her beautiful for the first time.

They are in their own little world.
Ten.
Shortly after, there’s a moment when they start singing “Ten Minutes Ago” as they’ve finally found love.

And TBH, whenever the Prince sees her.

They are dancing outside too! (We love love!!!)

There’s a sweet moment when Cinderella and the Prince bond again over their unpredictable and demanding family.

And they realize that maybe, maybe, they are “that person” to each other.

Oh, and there’s another hand touch too! Romance!

I doubt it’s all true.

Cinderella also participates in this song, clearly having the same feelings for the prince.

There is a wholesome moment when the Prince kisses her hand and forehead!!!! (WHAT!!!!)

And they have their first kiss! ah!

What strikes a chord with us is the moment when they are forced to part ways in the middle of the night, before the prince hears his name, as Cinderella frantically runs off.

And of course he found something that reminded him of her, the glass slipper.

And while apart, there are moments when the two miss each other. Cinderella realizes that despite the treatment she has received from her spiteful stepmother, she deserves to be loved for who she is, even if it’s not her royal family.

And the prince decides that he needs to find Cinderella.

There is a moment when the Prince finally reunites with Cinderella after trying to get several women to wear glass slippers without success.

And last, but not least, there’s the moment when the two run down the street together and have their dream wedding.
😭😭😭 We love fairy tales!
