Either way, the fact of the matter is that Dolly Parton wears gloves on her hands.
In a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair, Dolly was asked about her tendency to often wear long sleeves, to which she admitted to getting tattoos to hide her scars. She said, “I tend to have keloid scar tissue, and if I have some kind of scar somewhere, I tend to have a purple tint that can never be removed. [tattoos] It’s all pastel and meant to hide blemishes.
