This fan seemed to love everything about the new film:
I love KNOCK AT THE CABIN, Night’s latest intense, personal, deep, very strange reflection on faith, doubt, certainty, and how each of them is redemption and truly unspeakably frightening. Insanely stylish, Bautista kills it.

Four.
Another is here for Shyamalan’s consistency with good child actors.
One of my favorite parts of KNOCK AT THE CABIN was Kristen Cui’s effortlessly loving performance. While watching it, M. Knight was really impressed with how Shyamalan consistently gets great work from child actors.

One fan thinks the director is consistently fumbling through the third act of his films.
As usual, M. Knight gropes the third act. In his last twenty minutes of all his films, he seems to have lost his creative focus and ability. I think he thinks more about the journey than the destination…. #KnockAtTheCabin

This fan enjoyed the movie, but is still thinking about the ending:
KNOCK AT THE CABIN is still working on the ending a bit, but it’s really good (not necessarily in a bad way!). The entire cast is great here, but KNOCK gives his Dave Bautista a chance to work on a whole new level. he’s amazing #KnockAtTheCabin

One viewer considers it Shyamalan’s best film. village:
Knock at the Cabin: Be blown away by Shyamalan’s formal dexterity with a full blast. His best since The Village, with stunning tension, performance and visual elegance. Book lovers may disagree, but I liked the change in the novel’s gutsy ending to something more textured.

But others blame the script for their frustration with the film.
I am very frustrated with Knock at the Cabin. Solid performances and bold directing, but terrible writing. Dialogue is used as a crutch rather than a tool. The plot is painfully obvious. The final act completely weakens all previous tensions. Idk, not for me.

Still, this viewer makes a good point. A really Shyamalan movie without his signature twist?
Knock at the Cabin (2023) This was an improvement on M. Night Shyamalan’s recent film and enjoyed a spin on the Home Invasion genre, but what his signature twist didn’t deliver I was disappointed in It starts right up, so it’s pretty fast-paced and somewhat predictable, but decent.

One viewer liked the movie, but apparently needed more graphic kills.
Knock on the cabin fucking rules. My only gripe is that, despite being M. Nite’s first R-hit-rated movie in 20 years, Killing is less raw than Old.

Sometimes the more you think about something, the worse you feel.
#KnockAtTheCabin The more I thought about it after seeing the movie, the more I realized how flawed and bad it was. I had high hopes, but it definitely wasn’t worth it. there are so many holes.

Apparently, Dave Bautista wears glasses when performance gets serious.
I enjoyed #KnockAtTheCabin. Maybe not as old (2021). But it’s still a good watch. (I also like the fact that whenever Dave Bautista wears glasses, he performs very *serious*.) My review on @letterboxd: https://t .co/L3o3GAIDB4

Another watcher warns against wasting time and money.
Yes, this movie was just a waste of time. Zero rewatch value, frankly… pretty boring. I want my money back, but I didn’t pay to see it. #KnockAtTheCabin
