There were a lot of New Year’s specials this year. It had Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton on Peacock, Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper’s somber show on CNN, Don Lemon, and more. There were many moments.

People noted how consistently off-key David Byrne was during his multiple performances on the Miley and Dolly New Year’s special.
A guy in blue rushes to the stage with Miley’s special to do karaoke with Sia, but he’s not hitting any notes at all.

ABC’s camera operator reportedly missed the “ball drop moment,” and people were mad.
@ABC Congrats on ruining everyone’s ball drop. It’s not that hard to point the camera at fucking balls and countdowns. You screwed it up in every way. You didn’t see the ball drop and you were a minute behind.

Kevin Hart cursed CNN, saying it was “bullshit” that Andy and Anderson couldn’t drink:
