In a new trailer released Tuesday morning, Joe is reunited with fan-favorite character Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti). For those who remember the Season 3 finale, Joe killed her love and faked his own death in California.
“Hi Joe,” Love says in the trailer, sitting in Joe’s iconic transparent cage holding a book.
When Joe experiences hallucinations of people from his past, it is likely that love is a product of his imagination. youmaybe love actually survived.
Love quickly became a fan-favorite character when she was introduced in the second season. Did.
It remains unclear what impact her character will have in Season 4. This season follows newly single Joe as he travels to London to find the latest woman he has a crush on, Marienne (Tachi Gabriel). After finally finding his girlfriend, he decides to keep her alive when she is completely horrified by all his wrongdoings. Joe then tries to live a peaceful life as a professor at the University of London, but a new stalker forces him to cover up the crime.
Episode 5, which was the end of Part 1, ends with a cliffhanger where Joe finally finds out who Eat the Rich Killer is. After becoming a police officer, Joe is knocked out by British politician Lys Montrose (Ed Speleers) and taken to the basement. Rhys later reveals that he is Joe’s anonymous stalker and he wants Joe to help him with the plan. At the end of the episode, Rhys announces his candidacy for mayor of London and Joe resolves to stop his crimes.
Tuesday’s trailer also details Rhys’ infatuation with fellow Joe.
“It’s obvious. I want a friend. Someone who shares my interests, someone who I can finally tell all my secrets to. I care about you, Joe,” Rhys says.
Following Joe’s attempts to be a better man while falling in love with this season’s main love interest, Kate Galvin (Charlotte Richie), it looks like the rest of the season will follow.
So love lives on, and what is Rhys going to do with his mayoral candidacy? Oh, can Joe actually change? Only time will tell.
