As a veteran Bravo fan, I’ve watched nearly every episode of every Housewives franchise out there (it’s no easy feat, TBH).
The women of the various cities of Bravoverse brought all kinds of entertainment, but none of them did it like Bravoverse. women of atlanta.
Housewife’s World third production, Real Housewives of Atlanta premiered in October 2008 and is currently airing its 15th season.
Lisa Wu, Deshaun Snow, Nene Leakes, Kim Zolciak, and Sherri Whitfield are ATL’s OGs, with Kandi Burruss joining the line-up for Season 2.
Now let’s take a look. Several We’ll explain why this is the best Housewives series of all time.

Lore It was the first Southern franchise and the first to have a black woman in the cast (let alone a predominantly black female cast).

Gave us a truly unforgettable moment…

…and a far-reaching laughter from a woman who can laugh at herself as hard as she contends with others.

Don’t forget the sinful fun you’ve added to your playlist. Lore. Who among us has never heard “Don’t be late for the party”?

The more the cast, the better it got. Fedora Parks, Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey, and Kenya Moore?!

It wasn’t just great. Gone with the wind was wonderful.

Atlanta also felt like the first franchise where people really got into the interactive elements. WWHLMore Appearances in Twitter discourse, memes on memes, memes on memes (kudos to Black Twitter for all of the above).

There were some explosive reunions that made for even more unforgettable (but GIFable) scenes. Who doesn’t remember this four-part reunion?

was there ups and downsbreakups and reconciliations, loss of money, time, and relevance, but the Atlanta woman never fails to show up.

And, of course, tribute to one of Atlanta’s central figures who then left Bravo: the incomparable Lynesia ‘NeNe’ Leakes.

there is noise Lore is in the midst of a fiasco with season 15, but thanks to these women’s ingenuity, there’s no doubt that the women of Atlanta will hold out for many seasons to come.
